From Rehab Experiment to Product Platform

Born from real shoulder rehabilitation work — not a lab sketch.

Origin & Proof of Concept

During shoulder rehab, two tools were already in use: elastic resistance bands and one-pound weighted MMA-style gloves. Combining them — band across the upper back, ends secured in the gloves — immediately proved a powerful principle.

Every punch, reach, or defensive motion became more demanding without attaching to a wall, door, or machine. The resistance moved with the athlete.

Movement Cycle

How It Works

One movement trains force production, stability, endurance, deceleration, and recovery.

Set the Fit

Slip the neoprene yoke over the arms and settle it across the shoulders. Adjust so it stays secure without restricting breathing or rotation.

Select Resistance

Choose light, moderate, or advanced cords. Decide whether to add glove mass for stacked loading.

Establish Guard

Hands begin near the body in boxing guard or neutral position with minimal controlled tension.

Perform the Move

As the hand travels forward or outward, the elastic lengthens and resistance progressively increases.

Control the End

Decelerate before elbow lockout. Maintain joint alignment and shoulder control at the end range.

Return Under Control

The cord assists the hand back while the athlete actively controls speed and path — training recovery to guard.

Light-to-moderate cords connected shoulder-to-glove, unweighted or lightly weighted gloves — repeated punches, combinations, guard recovery, timed rounds. Emphasizes progressive resistance while preserving natural hand speed.

Shoulder Yoke Low-profile, breathable, padded support that stabilizes the resistance path and spreads load across shoulders and upper back.
Independent Resistance Cords Separate left and right elastic cords for balanced bilateral movement, single-arm drills, and interchangeable resistance levels.
Shoulder Anchors Reinforced loops, D-rings, or low-profile rotating anchors positioned away from the neck and aligned with natural arm motion.
Glove / Wrist Connection Purpose-built attachment that replaces the proof-of-concept knot, keeps hardware out of the palm, and preserves wrist alignment.
Weighted or Unweighted Gloves MMA-style or training gloves used with removable hand mass, fixed light weights, or no added weight depending on the goal.
Adjustment & Safety Hardware Cord-length adjustment, swivel connectors, covered elastic sections, optional quick-release or overload-release features.

Technique Awareness

The progressive pull makes loss of alignment, excessive reach, uneven left-right output, or weak return-to-guard easier to notice.

Shoulder Activation & Warm-up

Light resistance for gradual arm extensions, scapular movement, controlled punches, and sport-specific preparation.

Rehab Progression

Low-resistance configuration can support professionally prescribed shoulder and upper-body exercise when approved for the individual.

Portable Training
