Origin & Proof of Concept
During shoulder rehab, two tools were already in use: elastic resistance bands and one-pound weighted MMA-style gloves. Combining them — band across the upper back, ends secured in the gloves — immediately proved a powerful principle.
Every punch, reach, or defensive motion became more demanding without attaching to a wall, door, or machine. The resistance moved with the athlete.
- Resistance travels with the user — no fixed anchor required
- Left and right arms train together or independently
- Challenges both outward force production and controlled return
- Weighted gloves + elastic can be stacked or used separately
- A dedicated yoke organizes the band path and prevents neck roll
